New NDIS Initiative

At Wesleyan Community Care, we are driven by a deep commitment to serving the most vulnerable in our community, reflecting the heart of Christ’s compassion. As scripture reminds us, “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.” (James 1:27). This call to action resonates profoundly in our mission to extend care and support to those facing hardship and isolation.

Within our community, the needs of individuals with disabilities and the elderly often go unmet, leaving them feeling marginalised and unsupported. These individuals, our brothers and sisters, deserve to live with dignity, respect, and access to the resources they need to thrive.

We are excited to announce our initiative to establish a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) project, designed to provide crucial support services to individuals with disabilities. We will initially launch in Archerfield, QLD, but have already had other churches who are interested in hosting a Wesleyan Community Care NDIS office at their church premises. It is important to note that your generous contributions will directly support Wesleyan Community Care’s project set-up costs.

Our aim is to create a safe and nurturing environment where participants can:

  • Develop essential life skills: Enabling greater independence and participation in community life.
  • Access personalised support: Tailored to their unique needs and goals.
  • Build social connections: Fostering a sense of belonging and reducing isolation.
  • Enhance overall well-being: Promoting physical, emotional, and spiritual health.

To bring this vision to life, we need your generous support. Your contribution will directly impact the lives of individuals with disabilities by:

  • Covering essential organisational set-up costs: Including fees payable to NDIS consultants, ensuring we navigate the complexities of the scheme effectively.
  • Funding the mandatory government audit: This is a crucial step for NDIS provider registration, ensuring we meet all compliance requirements before commencing operations.
  • Acquiring essential resources and equipment: This includes specialised software programs for client management, service delivery, and reporting, enabling us to provide efficient and effective support.
  • Allowing us to build a strong foundation for future expansion: Enabling us to extend our reach and impact more lives in need.

By partnering with us, you are not only providing financial assistance but also extending a hand of hope and compassion to those who need it most. Your generosity will help us create a community where everyone feels valued and supported.

We invite you to join us in this vital ministry. Your donation, no matter the size, will make a significant difference.
